UX & UI Design

Thank You Page

The customer has successfully bought something in your online shop? Amazing! But your efforts shouldn't end there. Providing crucial information after the purchase can save resources in customer support. And on top of that, your customer feels safe and secure. Turn your one time costumer to a regular one with appropriate and valuable content and a smooth user experience.

This redesign was created during my employment as a UX/UI Designer at niceshops GmbH. The main goal was to reduce customer support inquiries by providing useful information.

Old Design

Before the redesign valuable information was a scarce commodity. The page only provided a link to the help center and the hotline number.

New Design

Since many important details were missing, I added the following:

  • An order number so users can check their order whenever they want.
  • The e-mail the customer ordered with, so that double-checking is possible.
  • The delivery date, so the user knows when their parcel arrives.
  • We added an animation, illustrations and icons so that the new design creates excitement for the delivery.
  • The possibility to create an account if the purchase was made with a guest account.

The further down we get on this page, the less important the information gets. Because we know that people don't read much on the internet.

An option for a newsletter opt-in was added. And to make the onlineshop more personal and authentic, an interesting fact was added as well. The links to social media are supposed to create more trust.
